The Cornea Society sponsors and supports Cornea: The Journal of Cornea and External Disease. Initially published by Raven Press, Inc., with Frank M. Polack, MD, as the founding editor, the journal has grown in scientific quality, circulation, and stature. Currently published monthly by Wolters Kluwer Health, the present Editor-in-Chief is Reza Dana, MD, MSc. MPH.

Online subscription to kera-net

kera-net is the official online resource of the Cornea Society. It was developed for the ophthalmologist with a specific interest in cornea, external disease, eye banking, and refractive surgery. kera-net provides a worldwide interactive forum where subscribers can exchange clinical and scientific information pertinent to diseases and surgery of the cornea and external eye and refractive surgery.

Advocacy and representation on funding and regulatory legislation

The Cornea Society works with other ophthalmic associations on a variety of policy issues to ensure quality patient care. The Society is active in regulatory issues and represents its members before agencies including the Food and Drug Administration and CMS.

Discounts on meeting registration at various ophthalmic meetings

Members of the Cornea Society enjoy discounted meeting registration to World Cornea Congress, the Cornea and Eye Banking Forum, and the Fall Educational Symposium held prior to the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting.

CorneaEd

CorneaEd is a comprehensive educational database for ophthalmologists, providing detailed information and web-based links for fellowship, training and observership programs in cornea and external eye disease. Conceived by the Cornea Society and the Asia Cornea Society, CorneaEd provides the corneal community with information on educational opportunities throughout the United States and Asia-Pacific region, with a view to future expansion to other regions.

Initiated with funding support from the Asia Cornea Foundation, the Cornea Society, and the Asia Cornea Society, CorneaEd is a web-based reference for young clinicians who are members of either ACS or CS to aid in the selection of specific training programs and clinical attachments.
