Lindstrom Corneal Surgical Innovation Lecture and Prize, is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Richard Lindstrom, MD.  This new award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated exceptional innovation. This award recognizes an exceptional MD, clinician, scientist, and /or educator working in an academic or private practice setting globally. The recipient must have demonstrated groundbreaking contributions to corneal surgery through the invention and development of an innovative device, therapeutic, or surgical procedure with significant global impact.

The recipient will receive an award of $10,000 and the opportunity to present his/her work at the World Cornea Congress. The inaugural prize was presented at the 2025 World Cornea Congress.
